Photography for me is being able to capture time in a moment through the lens. I’ve been fascinated with light and shadow since I was a child. I remember looking at magazines such as Vogue, Vanity Fair and Harper’s Bazaar and being intrigued at how the light fell on the clothes and bodies of the models. The images were captivating to me. I discovered for myself that’s what I want to do, paint the female form with light! For me it turns out that it’s the art and images themselves that draws me to my style of photography.
I’m currently living in Asheville, NC and enjoy the beautiful mountains and natural beauty here. My other passion is helping those who are less fortunate than me. I find no greater fulfillment than being of service to others.
As a photographer it’s easy being behind the camera. As the person being photographed, it can be very intimidating and uncomfortable. It takes a lot of courage to be vulnerable and open during a photoshoot. That’s why I have the utmost respect for my clients when they entrust me with that side of themselves. I know for myself the rewards of being open and vulnerable have been priceless, even though it doesn’t feel like it in the moment. So, I would like to say thank you for giving me the honor of sharing this experience with you!
